Okay I can't believe it has been this long since I have written anything. Well our family is doing well. We are extremely busy with minstry, school, soccer, and just life in general.
We just had a huge outreach at our church for the youth last wednesday night. Praise the Lord, we had about 460 students/parents attend. The gospel was presented very clearly, so we are praying that the Lord will save whoever does not know Him.
As you all know we had the elections this last week, and so did our kids at their school.(John and I had no idea) So to our surprise, Josh and Kaylee came home telling us that they voted for Barac Obama. I just started laughing, John wasn't too happy! Kaylee told John, and John said "Oh that's not good." Kaylee just started balling. We didn't think she would take it so hard. So for the rest of the night she tried so hard to please both of us with drawings of John McCain, and posters with his name all over. Very Cute!
I promise I will try to keep this updated! Gotta go!

Finally

Okay so we finally cracked down and decided to make our own family blog. Although I have to admit, you may see some of the same things after months at a time.(I am not very good about updating things.)
So anyway our family is doing well. John just got back from Kentucky where he attended Together For the Gospel conference, and is extremely busy with ministry right now. I am hangin at home taking care of our precious 5 children. Josh is almost done with 1st grade playing baseball, loving math and looking forward to soccer season.(He loves to kick any shape or form of a ball!!.) Kaylee will be starting Kindergarten in the fall and is growing up way too fast. She is becoming a little lady. Ashlyn---ohhh we love Ashlyn. She is just, well, she's just Ashlyn. She loves to play dress-up, play horsies, play with her food, you name it. Elli is just a little ham. She makes laugh everyday. She has quite a strong will. We call her "swiper", because she swipes everyhting from everybody. And then there's Dayton. He is growing way too fast. He is crawling all over the place and is very curious. He looks alot like his grandpa and daddy.
So anyway, this is us in a nutshell for now.
Please when you think of our family pray that we would love the Lord with all our hearts all our soul and all our strength and be lights in this dark world. That we would train our children in a way that is honoring to the Lord and that we above all would remember that our precious Savior should always come first in our busy lives.
We love you all and hope and pray you all are well with the Lord.
